We work closely with clients, to achieve coherent, practical creative solutions resulting in stunning, functional concrete products and more importantly happy customers. ConcretCrafts is a concrete products manufacturer that specialises in the production of high-quality bespoke concrete items such as concrete sinks, shelves, hearts, windowsills, dining tables, garden tables, coffee tables, kitchen worktops, garden worktops, bar tops, fire pits, shower trays, fireplaces and more.
ConcreteCrafts is engaged in the production of Real Concrete. We have been creating our concrete products with a passion for over 12 years. Over the years of working and gaining experience, we have created Concrete of the highest quality. Concrete is becoming very popular because of its modern and rustic look. The main advantage of concrete is also the way it is made, shapeless concrete mix can be cast into the mould and create almost any shape. Each of the projects is unique, based on the client’s specific requirements and so has a unique finish and appearance. During the production process, we try to ensure a uniform appearance and trim for the entire project. We deliver high-qualitysurfaces ready for work. Concrete is naturally porous however sealing the surface reduces the risk of liquids penetrating the material, also patina can develop over time with use. Concrete as a material is pretty similar to natural stone or wood, however, there are a lot of things to remember that will keep your concrete product looking beautiful for a long time. Ground concrete surfaces are less likely to be marked and are more effective at hiding marks than those surfaces that are just polished. Following our Aftercare Instructions will ensure the quality and appearance for many years.
About concrete material
The concrete product that you have just acquired is hand-crafted. It is composed of natural materials (cement, sand, water, aggregate) and is handmade. The pores, microcracks and possible colour variation are inherent characteristics of the material used and evidence of handicraft, which give this furniture its unique appearance and charm. Vertical casting makes natural and irreplicable patterns, it can also contain discolouration. The colour variations on the sides can differ depending on the colour of the product. The colour variations on the sides can differ depending on the colour of the product. Darker colours can have grey discolouration in lighter shades whereas lighter colours can have discolouration which is the colour of the aggregates added to the mix such as sand.
This is a natural process which gives concrete its special character and makes the product unique and the only one in the world with its’ pattern. The colour variations on the sides can differ depending on the colour of the product. The final colour
Fresh concrete is always much darker than when it is fully cured and dry. The drying process depends on the conditions in which the concrete product is located. Drying can take from 7 days to 5 weeks at home. In damp areas such as garages, attics, unheated or unoccupied rooms and open spaces, drying may take longer and the concrete will remain dark as long as it is wet.
Photos of our work with clients
ConcreteCrafts reserves the right to take photos after the installation/delivery is complete, to archive projects and the right to place them in the website gallery, in social media, advertising materials and when creating sales listings.
We offer 3 lines of concrete – classic, stained and rustic.
– Classic
Classic and elegant high-quality polished concrete comes in a full range of colours and polishing.
– Stained
Stained concrete is a modern combination of two concrete colours to create unique patterns on the surface. We are unable to control the mixing process. It is a natural process that gives concrete a unique pattern, and the stained concrete product becomes the only one with such a pattern in the world.
– Rustic
Rustic concrete with, a stylish and industrial look is one of the most desired finishes on the market.
Cleaning
The surface of your product has been sealed to protect it from liquids and particles of dirt. ConcreteCrafts recommends cleaning surfaces carefully with soft equipment (such as a sponge or towel) without any sharp elements. Avoid spilling any acidic substances or using any strong chemical cleaning products on the surface. If you accidentally spill such substance, wipe it out immediately with a damp cloth (allowing it to dry). Our products should be cleaned with warm soapy water using bleach-free or special cleaning products. Scrubbing with abrasive powders or pads is not recommended as this may damage the surface and sealer coating. It would help if you also avoided any corrosive, solvent materials and cleaners.
Staining
Our products are treated with a sealer to help prevent staining and for hygiene. During the first few weeks, ConcreteCrafts recommends you keep tops as clean and dry as possible, you can use them normally. You need to remember to wipe concrete down after every use and not leave anything wet on the surface or any liquids till dry. It will damage the sealer and might leave a stain. ConcreteCrafts also recommends you avoid leaving acidic substances such as vinegar and lemon juice etc. in contact with the concrete. Lighter colours are naturally more susceptible to staining compared to strong colours and should be treated with extra care for a couple of weeks while they cure. Please note that any marks and discolouration caused by the process of production may dry and disappear after a few extra weeks after the installation. If the seal has been damaged or water starting to penetrate inside the concrete. Please stop using it, fully dry the product and apply a new seal. Please follow the instructions provided by the sealer manufacturer.

Acids
Particular care should be taken when using acidic foods such as lemon, fruit juice etc. The citric acid in these types of food can leave a mark.
Cutting / Chopping
Cutting and chopping or any other abrasive action should be done on a chopping board and not directly on the surface or product because it may damage the surface.
Chipping
Edges or corners of the product can be chipped if knocked by heavy items. Care should be taken when using heavy pots and pans. Surfaces can be also damaged by scratching with any sharp items, which is why ConcreteCrafts recommends cleaning surfaces carefully with soft equipment (such as a sponge or towel) without any sharp elements.
Hot Pots
Our surface may be also damaged or discoloured by the heat from hot utensils. ConcreteCrafts recommends you to use a board, coasters or a trivet.
Water
Our surfaces are 100% resistant to pure water. Water contains minerals that cause white residue on the surface, however, if the water pours out and is erased on time there is no possibility that the spots were formed. We recommend drying water with a towel to prevent watermarks.
Outdoor use of our concrete products
We advise you to regularly check and clean your concrete products when in use AND when not in use during the off-season, even when covered up for a long period, to ensure the best care of the product and to keep it looking fresh and clean.
Outdoor/Indoor suitability
Concrete suitable for exterior use under covered areas, away from direct rainfall and sun. Concrete products can be used in an outdoor environment up to a maximum heat of 50°C – 125 degrees Fahrenheit.
Covering concrete products
During the off-season please cover your Concrete furniture piece(s) with a protective cover of 100 % polyester coated with water-repellent: waterproof, breathable, UV- resistant and place them in a dry location. Concrete should not be left under the cover for an excessive period as it may get damaged by condensation forming under the cover. Condensation forms due to temperature changes which is sometimes mistaken for leakage. We do recommend airing covers off every so often and cleaning the concrete products. Do not leave liquids or common outdoor dirt to dry on the concrete surface. Concrete products cover information
1. Before you fit your new cover, please check that no damage has occurred in transit which could result in leakage.
2. You must always try to arrange the cover so that water runs off and does not collect pools, particularly over sewn seams.
3. Fit the cover and secure it on your furniture so that it does not chafe on sharp points or edges.
4. These covers are designed to help protect your furniture from rain, dirt, and UV rays.
5. Concrete should not be left under the cover for an excessive period as it may get damaged by condensation forming under the cover. Condensation forms due to temperature changes which is sometimes mistaken for leakage. This breathable fabric helps release condensation trapped underneath the covers however we do recommend airing covers off every so often and cleaning the concrete fire pit table.
• Although these covers are designed to help protect your furniture, we cannot guarantee this against extreme weather conditions.
• We recommend that you check your cover regularly to make sure no damage has occurred in severe weather conditions.
Concrete Fire Pits and other concrete products
-
Do not step on or sit on the fire pit (or on any other concrete products) under any circumstances.
-
Do not apply heavy pressure while installing the burner and control panel. Failure to do so may result in cracks and hairlines on the concrete surface or even permanent damage to the product.
-
Do not place heavy objects on the top of the fire pit as this can cause microcracks or even cracks
Warranty
Our warranty is strictly subject to certain terms and conditions set out in our Terms & Conditions. Read them carefully as action or inaction on your part may invalidate your warranty. Our warranty is only applicable in the UK and is subject to certain terms & conditions and exclusions. We do not, however, purport to limit your statutory rights in any way if you are a consumer. Cover starts from the date of delivery or installation or when you pick the product up from us. This will be marked on the proof of purchase or receipt. The duration of a warranty is 12 calendar months within those, the seller takes a responsibility to repair or replace the product if it is faulty or damaged by his fault. Please note, that any repairs or replacements can be done within the aforementioned 12 months, and after such actions, the warranty will not be extended for another 12 months. Most of our products are made of natural materials which inevitably have natural inconsistencies – part of their appeal. The existence of any such natural inconsistencies (including veining, pot marks or fissures) in any worktop made of natural material is therefore not deemed to be a breach of the warranty. Similarly, differences in the colour or thickness of any particular concrete worktop shall not be treated as a breach of our guarantee or other statutory obligations. Hold onto your receipt or proof of purchase as you will need it to claim under this warranty.
What is covered
Our warranty covers the material structure of products manufactured and fabricated by ConcreteCrafts on the following terms purchased by you against material defects for the duration of the warranty only. If you have had your product fitted by ConcreteCrafts, then we also guarantee that the workmanship of the installation of the products shall be of satisfactory quality and reasonably fit for normal domestic use. At our discretion, we will repair or replace in part or whole, or offer you the appropriate warranty value in cash on any product which is covered by our warranty if the claim under our warranty is justified in our reasonable opinion. If a replacement product is offered by us, but identical materials are no longer available, we reserve the right to replace the product with the nearest equivalent.
Cracks – Covered
– Made in production
– Made in transport
– Made during installation
– Up to 7 days from installation of concrete products
Cracks above +2mm wide are covered by ConcreteCrafts. Our warranty is strictly subject to you notifying us before having any work undertaken to rectify the problem, so unfortunately any costs you incur about such rectification will not be covered by us in any way.
What is not covered
The pores, microcracks, slight bends and possible colour variation are inherent characteristics of the material used and evidence of handicraft, which give this furniture its unique appearance and charm. For these reasons, this article cannot be returned or exchanged.
• Our warranty does not cover defects or damage arising in respect of:
1. The repair or replacement of any third-party components;
2. Fair wear and tear, resulting in scratches or staining(leaving any hot/acidic substances or liquids to dry on the surface) 2a. Not following the aftercare instruction
3. Modification or misuse (e.g., cutting or direct heat on worktops);
4. Physical, chemical or mechanical abuse;
5. Unauthorised repair;
6. Natural colour differences, veining, pot marks and fissures;
7. Small changes in the shape of the worktop on each side and slight bending up to 10mm (for pieces up to 1000mm long 3mm bend on each side is acceptable, 6mm for pieces up to 2000mm long and 10mm for pieces up to 3000mm or longer). That is a part of the appeal of concrete and not a flaw, so it is not covered by our warranty. 8. Use other than for regular domestic purposes or a purpose which is not disclosed at the time of installation or outdoor use;
9. Failure to use the product by the written instructions contained within these T&Cs & our After-care Instructions;
10. Moving parts or parts which are likely to perish over time (such as rubber seals around sinks);
11. Improper installation, site preparation or site maintenance by anyone other than a ConcreteCrafts Fitter; We recommend that the installation be performed by experienced professionals who have experience in installing concrete products or similar materials.
12. Any non-ConcreteCrafts product; or
13. Act of God.
14. Silicone – damaged silicone after installing worktops – the customer is obliged to purchase it in their range and the assumption of advice which could be most helpful.
15. Destruction or damage of the concrete product produced by ConcreteCrafts and caused by:
– incorrect levelling of cabinets, insufficient strengthening cabinets, cabinets folded up or poor quality of cabinets
IT IS NOT A DEFECT IN THE PRODUCT and ConcreteCrafts has no obligation to repair or replace the product.
16. All complaints and issues regarding the installation process must be reported on-site directly to our operatives. No such complaint will be taken into consideration after they leave the site.
-
Cracks not covered
-
If they were not reported on-site.
-
They were made upon receipt of the product by the customer, if not installed by ConcreteCrafts.
-
Used incorrectly for example: sitting, standing, placing heavy items etc.
-
After installation of sink, hob, extractor etc. without any additional support for example: the base, or frame that will support the importance of the product.
-
Micro-cracks, hairlines.
-
Cracks narrower than 2mm.
-
The concrete product cannot be completely built up because the concrete shrinks and expands (works until it dries completely). Complete build-up of the product without free space (tolerances less than 3 mm) may cause the product to crack. It is recommended to fill the gaps with flexible materials, e.g. silicon.
-
Other limitations

We shall not be liable in tort or contract for any direct, consequential, special or incidental losses or damages arising out of the use or inability to use the products except death or personal injury arising from our negligence or as set out in our warranty. The customer is obliged to prepare the kitchen for installation. If all cabinets are not set in horizontal alignment – our company has the right to refuse the installation and set up a new installation date. Customers have to pay other delivery costs. How to claim under our warranty: In the unlikely event that you do need to claim under our warranty, you must first contact the person or place you bought the product from, who will then contact us if appropriate. Proof of purchase ( the receipt) will be required. If we deem the fault to be covered under our warranty, we will contact you to assess the claim.

Delivery
Please note we do not provide weekend delivery. Our team delivers from Monday-Friday between 9 am – 3 pm. As we deliver our products personally, we schedule multi-deliveries based on your region, therefore we are unable to schedule individual deliveries for clients as it is scheduled based on your area. The client must reserve a place for the parking of a large van close to the delivery address because many of the concrete items we produce are very heavy and cannot be carried over long distances. ConcreteCrafts will strive to meet the delivery dates given, please note these dates are not given as a guarantee or part of the contract agreed. ConcreteCrafts will write to the Client about the supply and installation 4-5 days earlier. The customer is obliged to adjust for the proposed date. If the client has only paid for the delivery ConcreteCrafts will send only a driver and the client will need to supply an appropriate amount of men to unload goods safely. Delivery of product/s to a location or site requires appropriate and safe access to carry product/s from the vehicle to the desired place. Please note that ConcreteCrafts reserves the right to change the delivery date or time due to any kind of accident e.g. van failure or production faulty. Our consultant will inform you about the situation as soon as it is possible. We will arrange a new delivery date and time for the first available date. We cannot offer you any refunds when your date or time has been changed due to any unexpected issue.
On the day of delivery
Our delivery team can help with carrying your product to your desired place (this must be on the ground floor). You have to provide people to help with unloading (we will tell you how many you need) and safe access. It is the clients/contractors’ responsibility to provide sufficient labour or lift concrete worktops to unload products from the van. For all worktops bigger than 2000mm x 600mm we need a minimum of 2 people to help.
About help carry & assembly
(does not apply to the concrete products for which it has been paid for installation service) (Concrete dining tables, concrete coffee tables and concrete benches with steel legs ONLY!!!) Our worker can also help to carry and put your dining/coffee table together on-site at the client’s request (this must be on the ground floor and have safe access). The warranty does not cover the help of assembling. You can also use the assembly service of the above products, which are covered by the company ConcreteCrafts for the cost of £180.00. Concrete products can be very heavy depending on size, this means that with certain sized products our team will inform you that the client has to provide sufficient labour (manpower) who are capable of lifting heavy weight, to help with unloading the product on the day of delivery. Labour provided cannot be women/men who are unable to lift heavyweight, children or the elderly. The maximum lifting limit for men is 25kg while for women only 16kg. Therefore if there will be any women helping with unloading please always inform us in advance as the total number of people required to help may be different in that case. Failure to provide sufficient labour will result in us having to cancel the delivery as we cannot risk our staff members’ health and safety. If you are unsure of how many persons you will need for delivery, please contact us.
Cancellation of delivery
Please ensure once you have confirmed your delivery date if any changes to this occur, you must inform us of this at least 48 hours before the scheduled delivery so that we can re-arrange your slot. Our team delivers your products personally, therefore if the client does not inform us to cancel the delivery and our team makes the delivery and nobody is on-site to receive the product, delivery will have to be re-scheduled and paid for (the cost of a re-delivery is a minimum £120.00 or if was a higher given delivery cost in the customer’s quote) along with an unloading and loading cost of £100.00. A new delivery will be rescheduled no sooner than 2 weeks (unless we have a date sooner) as we are extremely booked up with deliveries. Concrete kitchen/garden worktops and bar top installation Delivery of product/s to a location or site requires appropriate and safe access to transfer product/s from vehicle to place of installation. When fitting wastes, allow silicon to seal and the retaining nut must be brought up to the underside of the basin. This nut must not be over-tightened as this may damage the product. A tolerance of ± 5mm is possible on all measurements taken due to the nature of concrete. Post-installation the products should be left alone for 48 hours to allow the glue used to bond the worktops to the cabinets to set. In the case where the client has paid for installation;
• ConcreteCrafts will supply a maximum of 2 people to carry the products on the day of installation (unless agreed otherwise beforehand).
• The client needs to provide enough people to lift and carry them safely.
• ConcreteCrafts reserves the right to refuse delivery to a location or site if access is deemed unsafe.
• Installation does not include electrical, gas, plumbing or jointing works.
• Do not screw tap and waste too tightly as it may cause tensions inside the concrete and result in hairlines appearing on the surface.
• We always keep a tolerance of 2-5mm from each side of the worktop.
• Concrete is like a natural stone so it is normal that some natural processes may occur, which can cause small changes in the shape of the worktop on each side and slight bending up to 10mm (for pieces up to 1000mm long 3mm bend each side is acceptable, 6mm for pieces up to 2000mm long and 10mm for pieces up to 3000mm or longer). That is a part of the appeal of concrete and not a flaw, so it is not covered by our warranty.
For the installation, we need you to:
• have any worktops taken off, all cabinets need to be clean and ready, placed in position and level, stable and mounted permanently for the installation, you also need to have any sinks, taps, or hobs taken off.
• it would be appreciated if a plumber would be already there to install a sink,
• before we start any installation there has to be a client with us or somebody who is also entitled to make any unpredictable decisions
• please make sure that there is a car park place for our workers to park a van
• we need help with unloading the van can you please make sure that there are some people already waiting? After the installation, a Delivery and Acceptance Protocol must be signed by a buyer or any person authorized by the buyer – please note that such person is also responsible for giving the paperwork directly to the buyer. If for any reason there is no person to sign the Delivery and Acceptance Protocol it will be presumed that the protocol is accepted by the buyer. All complaints and issues regarding the installation process must be reported on the side directly to our operatives. No such complaint will be taken into consideration after they leave the side.ConcreteCrafts reserves the right to take photos after the installation/delivery is completed, to archive projects and the right to place them in the gallery on the website, in social media, in advertising materials and when creating sales listings.
Templating
If the client orders a template then must ensure that all base units in the kitchen are in position and level, so the worktops can be installed correctly and in their final place, as the templates will be made to reflect the positioning on the day. ConcreteCraftsThe templater will take photos of the complete layout with the actual templates as evidence of this. The cut out prepared for the under-mounted sink is always 5-10mm smaller than the needed cut out, due to the irregular edges of under-mounted sinks. All sinks with basic cut out are square (without rounded corners), however, at the request of a client and with a small additional cost we can make radiuses on the corners. All changes must be always confirmed before the production process begins. If not, then the client will need to pay all costs caused by any additional work. The client is responsible for all the things written below, so we can make our template properly: Cabinets need to be ready in position and level. You also need to know any measurements of any tap holes, hobs, sinks etc. Any current worktops should be taken off. Please also make sure that you confirm the already made template by signing one of our documents, which is necessary for us to start our work. If any of these restrictions will not be prepared when our employees arrive then we have a right to decline the template and the client will have to pay for another template appointment on a different date.
Production
Making the polished concrete items takes at least 3-8 weeks depending on the size/complexity of the project, it also depends on how busy the production schedule is at the time of placing the order. A start date and estimated production time for orders will be confirmed once the deposit has been received. Production times are given as an estimate only due to the bespoke nature of our products. ConcreteCrafts will not accept any liability for the delays caused by the manufacture of products ordered, including penalties and costs. Products in some instances may be delivered before completely dry so the colour can be darker. Pieces will change to their natural colour in time and it can take a few weeks. Please note that care must be taken as the product can be more susceptible to staining during drying time.
(Fresh concrete is always much darker than when it is fully cured and dry. The drying process depends on the conditions in which the concrete product is located. Drying can take from 7 days to 5 weeks at home. In damp areas such as garages, attics, unheated or unoccupied rooms and open spaces, drying may take longer and the concrete will remain dark as long as it is wet.)
Samples
Samples are available free of charge. Samples are just an example of mix, design, colours and texture and are provided as guidance only, differences in tone will occur in the final product. It usually takes about 3 to 7 days to deliver the samples, depending on whether they are in stock. We can also make any special samples on the client’s request however such samples cost extra.
Please note that sheen and polishing are always unique for each sample and depend on individual casting and mix. Samples are also not sealed the same way as the final product. Enclosed are samples showing shades of colours only. Differences in tones, texture and amount of aggregates on the final product may vary due to the nature of concrete materials. The colour variations in vertical casting information you will find on our website in our T&C. The colour of the final product may be darker than previously supplied samples as the concrete drying process can take up to a few weeks.
Storage Rates
If payment for products is not received within the time scales stated within ConcreteCrafts terms and conditions, storage rates of £30 per day will be added to the cost of the product/manufacture. Products will be stored for 30 days from the production completion date. After that period, ConcreteCrafts reserve the right to dispose of the product(s) as deemed appropriate.
Tiles and Panels
All tiles are made on request of the client. Tiles 600mm x 600mm and under are about 20mm thick (please note that we need to keep +/- 3mm tolerance), and all above that size are 25mm thick. Panels are about 10mm thick (also with +/- 3mm tolerance). For all our products we need to reserve the rights of the tolerance which is +/- 3mm.
Surface Texture
The manufacture of polished concrete products involves a complex casting process when liquid concrete becomes a solid form. During this process, ConcreteCrafts aims to control and monitor all of the stages, but due to the nature of the procedure and concrete as a material, variable outcomes will occur in colour and surface texture. These idiosyncrasies are an integral part of the character of concrete and are considered to be part of the appeal and not flaws. Typical characteristics of concrete products may include bug or blow holes, non-structural hairline cracks and patina. Small knockouts may occur along the edges of some products, although this is a typical characteristic of concrete. Please note that the production process can cause slight discolouration because the reinforcements that are placed inside the concrete make the material thicker. Such discolouration should disappear after a few weeks from the installation. In multiple casts (i.e. worktop sections) colour variation may occur, and surface details will differ as will the character of each component. Vertical Casting –The sides of concrete products may vary from the top surface of the products. Vertical casting makes natural and irreplicable patterns, it can also contain discolouration. The colour variations on the sides can differ depending on the colour of the product. Darker colours can have grey discolouration in lighter shades whereas lighter colours can have discolouration which is the colour of the aggregates added to the mix such as sand. This is a natural process which gives concrete its special character and makes the product unique and the only one in the world with its’ pattern.
ABOUT GRINDING TABLE TOPS OR WORKTOPS
Horizontal is grinding only (external vertical sides are not in the grinding finish)
ABOUT GRINDING SINKS
Horizontal + outside vertical sides are grinding (bowl can’t be in grinding finish) Due to the nature of concrete, movement, shrinkage and slight bending may occur during the casting process altering the shape of the product. If the fitting is part of the order placed, ConcreteCrafts will endeavour to equalize any shape differences. Product edges may vary in degree and some causes the aggregates may be visible, this is part of the variable nature. Slight bending may occur in all concrete products and it does not affect the concrete durability or structure. For pieces up to 1000mm long 3mm bend on each side is acceptable, 6mm for pieces up to 2000mm long and 10mm for pieces up to 3000mm or longer.
Cut Outs
Specific details and cut-out sizes must be provided by the client/contractor for production to run within the given lead times. The client will then be responsible for the dimensions of these cutouts.
– All the cutouts have to start a minimum of 60mm from the front and back and 100mm from the sides of the concrete worktops/slabs (if it is a standard worktop)
– All the cutouts have to start a minimum of 80mm from the front and back and 100mm from the sides (if it is a concrete island)
Please note that hairlines may occur around the cutouts. They do not influence the concrete’s quality or durability and are not in the structure of the material, they are just a visual feature of the concrete surface.
Remake
Products will be replaced in the unusual event of being damaged in transit or having been made incorrectly. The lead time of the replacement will require no less than the manufacturing time given for the original order. ConcreteCrafts will strive to meet the delivery dates given, please note these dates are not given as a guarantee or part of the contract agreed upon. ConcreteCrafts will notify the Client about the supply and installation 3-5 days earlier (including weekends). The customer is obliged to fit up for the proposed date. ConcreteCrafts can make a product again but ConcreteCrafts will not pay for all costs incurred by the replacement of the product, such as people needed to unload, install and de-installation of the sink, hob etc. and other kitchen equipment. The rules are the same as requested on the first delivery and installation. The client is responsible for providing the proper access to the worktop and cabinets. If something has been installed (i.e. tiles etc.) The client is responsible for removing it for the installation of the product provided by ConcreteCrafts. The client must also reserve a place for the parking of a large van close to the delivery address because most of the items we produce (especially worktops) are heavy and cannot be carried over long distances. ConcreteCrafts writes to the Client about the supply and installation and notifies them 3-5 days earlier (including weekends). The customer is obliged to fit up for the proposed date. In the case where the client has only paid for delivery; – ConcreteCrafts will only send out a driver and the client will need to supply an appropriate amount of manpower to unload goods safely.
CONCRETE BAR TOPS AND WORKTOPS
Post Installation
Do not use or touch the table at least 48 hours after installation to allow the glue to set. Concrete also takes a while to fully dry out so it may take as much as a few weeks for the final colour to come through which will be lighter than how it appears when first delivered. The product needs to be treated with extra care for the first 14 days as the sealer needs time to cure completely. The important thing to prevent concrete products from staining is not to leave any hot/acidic substances or liquids to dry on the surface. We advise using coasters under glasses, cups and mugs. Do not place hot pans or other hot items onto the surface as this will lead to staining on the surface, always use a pan stand or coaster as appropriate. Do not keep concrete products under cover, concrete needs to breathe to get dry and cure properly. Covering the surface will disturb this process. Do not leave any objects over 10kg on the tabletop and do not place any objects over 20kg on the tabletop as this can cause micro-cracks or even cracks.
Installing other appliances
When installing hobs/sinks/extractors into cutouts in the worktops, be careful not to be too rough as this may lead to small hairline cracks around the outer edges of the cutouts. Do not screw tap and waste too tightly as it may cause tension inside the concrete and result in hairlines appearing on the surface.
Cleaning & Maintenance
The exposed concrete surface has been sealed to help maintain/protect the surface. The main points to avoid are; Do not use the work surface as a chopping block, this will lead to scratches, and always use a chopping block. Cutting and chopping or any other action should be done on a chopping board and not directly on the surface of the product because it may damage it. Do not use boards or trivets made of rough or scratchy materials as they may scratch the surface and damage the sealer coating. Edges or corners of the product can be chipped if knocked by heavy items. Care should be taken when using heavy pots and pans. Do not place hot pans or other hot items onto the surface as this will lead to staining on the surface, always use a pan stand or coaster as appropriate. Our surface sealants may be damaged or discoloured by the heat from hot utensils. It is recommended to use a dish rack or drainer and not leave wet dishes to dry on the worktop surface. We recommend cleaning surfaces carefully with soft equipment (such as a sponge or towel) without any sharp elements. Avoid spilling any strong acidic substance or using any harsh chemical cleaning solutions on the surface. If you do accidentally spill such a substance, immediately dry the surface and then wipe it several times with a damp cloth (allowing it to dry every time). For cleaning, we recommend products dedicated to polished concrete. There is a huge variety of such products on the market, however we recommend trying the product on a small non-visible area first. If the seal has been damaged or water starting to penetrate inside the concrete. Please stop using it, fully dry the product and apply a new seal. Please follow the instructions provided by the sealer manufacturer.

Outdoor use of our concrete products
Suitable for outdoor use. Concrete products can be used outdoors up to a maximum temperature of 50 ° C – 125 degrees Fahrenheit. We advise you to regularly check and clean your concrete products when in use AND when not in use during the off-season, even when covered up for a long period, to ensure the best care of the product and to keep it looking fresh and clean.
Covering concrete products
During the off-season please cover your Concrete furniture piece(s) with a protective cover of 100 % polyester coated with water-repellent: a waterproof, breathable, UV- resistant and place them in a dry location. Concrete should not be left under the cover for an excessive period as it may get damaged by condensation forming under the cover. Condensation forms due to temperature changes which is sometimes mistaken for leakage. We do recommend airing covers off every so often and cleaning the concrete products. Do not leave liquids or common outdoor dirt to dry on the concrete. Do not step on or sit on concrete products under any circumstances. Failure to do so may result in cracks and hairlines on the concrete surface or even permanent damage to the product. Do not place heavy objects on the top of the concrete products as this can cause micro-cracks or even cracks.
On the day of delivery
It is the clients/contractors’ responsibility to provide sufficient labour or lift concrete worktops to unload products from the van. For all worktops bigger than 2000mm x 600mm we need a minimum of 2 people to help.
Additional information
All the cutouts have to start a minimum of 60mm from the front and back and 100mm from the sides of the concrete worktops/slabs (if it is a standard worktop) All the cutouts have to start a minimum of 80mm from the front and back and 100mm from the sides (if it is a concrete island)
CONCRETE SINKS
The product must be treated with extra care for the first 14 days as the sealer needs time to cure completely. You need to make sure not to leave any acidic substances to dry on the surface to avoid staining.
Fitting
The wall or cabinets must be solid and properly prepared to support the weight of the concrete sink. Any brackets intended for mounting concrete sinks should be attached to the wall using appropriate dowels. The sink must be attached to the brackets and the wall with glue. The surface under the sink is not even and any gaps where the sink does not meet the brackets or cabinet should be filled with more glue or packers. Please ensure that the sink adhesive is evenly distributed over the entire surface of the supports/ wall to provide a good base for the product. Do not overtighten the faucet(tap) and drain(waste) as this can cause stress within the concrete and cause hairs to appear on the sink surface. We recommend that the installation be performed by experienced professionals who have experience in installing concrete products or similar materials. The concrete product cannot be completely built up because the concrete shrinks and expands (works until it dries completely). Complete build-up of the product without free space (tolerance not less than 3 mm) may cause the product to crack. It is recommended to fill the gaps with flexible material, e.g. silicon.
Cleaning & Maintenance
The exposed concrete surface has been sealed to help maintain/protect it. Our products should be cleaned with warm soapy water using a bleach and acid-free product. Sealants can be damaged by scratching with any sharp objects, which is why ConcreteCrafts recommends cleaning surfaces carefully with soft equipment (such as a sponge or towel) without any sharp elements. Scrubbing with abrasive powders or pads is not recommended as this may damage the surface and sealer coating. For cleaning, we recommend products dedicated to polished concrete. There is a huge variety of such products on the market, however, we recommend trying the product on a small non-visible area first. If the seal has been damaged or water starting to penetrate inside the concrete. Please stop using it, fully dry the product and apply a new seal. Please follow the instructions provided by the sealer manufacturer.

Fire pit cover information
6. Although these covers are designed to help protect your furniture, we cannot guarantee this against extreme weather conditions.
7. We recommend that you check your cover regularly to make sure no damage has occurred in severe weather conditions.
